This film could have a massive impact on our sport, much like the Cousteau TV series once did.
The film is good enough to attract general non scuba diving audiences. It is getting rave reviews and winning awards.
The hundreds of thousands (and maybe more) people who see this film will far better understand what we divers do and why we do it. They will also learn a lot about sharks and the current ecological disaster of their extinction.
It is in our interests, as divers, to tell as many people as possible about this amazing film.

Thanks...!

Let me add this from the Google site....
Theatrical trailer for internationally award winning Sharkwater. The coolest and most adventure filled documentary ever. It's won 10 awards ... all » and has beaten out 40 million dollar blockbusters at festivals all over the world. Check it out - corruption, espionage, attempted murder, machine gun chases, boat rammings, arrests - all in a film about the relationship between sharks and people. In theaters this year!

And the Youtube....

Also the trailer on YT..

I'm going to see it next Sat. I hope I don't smear my mascara.

I am dying to see this movie, it looks awesome.
Can't wait until it gets to my area.
I think it's only in Canada and New York at this time and I am in Southern California.

I wonder how to find out when it comes to a given city?

looks wonderful

Sharkwater is a great movie for both divers and non divers. I took three of my non diving friends and they thought it was great. It lead to a spirited discussion at the pub after about all the misconceptions they had about sharks and how people can stop the sharkfin trade.

If you want more info check out the website at http://www.sharkwater.com/. If you scroll down to the bottom of the site you can join their mailing list which will probably update you on screenings in your neck of the woods.

Cheers, David
