Just out of curiosity, I decided to compare different Sherwood models

1. Brut (SRB5100): 1st - 1HP port, 4 LP (1 primary, Sherwood so-called air-sensing channel system), unbalanced piston, dry sealed (can be upgraded to balanced (for how much???)), 2nd - Brut.

2. Magnum (SRB5300): 1st - 2 HP, 4 LP (1 primary), balanced piston, dry sealed, 2nd - same as Brut.

3. Oasis (SRB5700): 1st - 2 HP, 5 LP (2 primary), balanced piston, dry sealed, 2nd - has moisture retention fins against cotton mouth.

4. Blizzard (SRB5900): 1st - same as Oasis, 2nd - same as Oasis, but moisture retention fins treated against freezing. I don't understand why do they need Oasis?

5. Maximus (SRB5600): 1st - same as Oasis, 2nd - has moisture retention fins and treated against freezing, has veturi switch and cracking resistance adjustment knob, underarm hose.

Is this correct?

The Blizzard also contains a plated heat sink in it to ward off freezing/freeflow.

You may want to take a look here for more info on Sherwoods:

BTW, what do you mean by "dry sealed"? Sherwoods have a patented one-way bleed valve on the first stage that basically environmentally seals the unit. Again, check their website for more info.
