Just found out I may have a few free hours in the afternoon tomorrow to myself in Grand Cayman. It will be too late for a dive boat... but I seem to recall hearing that shore diving was a relatively easy affair (And good diving) in Cayman.

Are there operators renting tanks and weights, as well as providing guided dives (I have no buddy with me) near (short cab ride?) where the cruise ships tender into on Grand Cayman ?

Any reccomendations for who to use, or where to go ??
I'll only have about 3-4 hrs Max.

Many thanks
Osb

Try Don Fosters, they are in walking distance from the cruise terminal (as you stand at the cruise ship terminal facing the sea walk along the road following the water front to the left (east,) and it is not too far. They offer full gear, and guided dives for $15-CI (I think.) - Depending on availibility of instructors of course.
