In Bonaire & Curacao (about 10 trips total), I always leave my truck unlocked 24 hours a day. When out shore diving, it obviously stays unlocked and with one or more windows down. Truck has never been bothered.
Obviously nothing of significant value in the truck.
Here in the states, I leave my Mustang Convertible unlocked all the time as well, sometimes top-down all day in a parking garage. Again, no problems with that...
