What gave it away? The perfect body position, the snorkel? That handy dandy "cave" light? Them being obviously within arms reach of their guideline? Or their super-streamlined gear config?

Blueprint for survival mentions not having to be touching the guidline but be close enough to reach it should things get soupy. Unless i dreamed it.....which wouldn't suprise me.....
 
Try that in the Gallery in the Devil's system. It takes some common sense. Depending on my familiarity with the cave and the likely hood of needing the line, I'll move off of it a bit (5 - 10') but I always know where it is and it's always in plain site.
