I was working freelance on The Junk way back in 2000. It was a great boat to work on, great to dive from and everyone was happy with the boat. Tour leader Jay was on the boat then and is STILL on the boat. You will struggle to find a better tour leader. He and his wife Kay are excellent guides, maintaining a passion and enthusiasm for diving and have eagle eyes for spotting critters.

Phuket is a huge island, and there are also many nearby places to visit. Plenty to do when you're out of the water. I started a blog a few months ago where I try to show some of "my" Phuket, rather than the tourist Phuket, though there is naturally some crossover:
