No pics (because I gave it away to someone here on SB), but I made a set of travel, light weight STAs once out of 1/4 inch PVC pipe. I used my Fred T steel 2 piece STA as my mold. I cut the pvc pipe into slices, cut across and heated the pieces in the oven until they opened up into straight strips. Then, while still hot and pliable, using oven mitts I formed them strips against the metal STAs to duplicate their shape. I drilled holes for the bolts and cut slots for the webbing. Took about 30 mins and cost nothing since I used a piece of scrap PVC, and they worked great.
