Hi all

Wondering if anyone has any views on this-
Thinking of going to Sipadan but would probably only be able to do a couple of dives what with cost, permit issue etc. Is there anywhere else that comes close but is not as restrictive?
I've been to Malapascua and thought it was ok on balance- gato and dona m very good but lighthouse and jap wreck awful. Puerto galera very good fish life and coral. Coron great wrecks etc etc
Can anyone compare Sipadan to Komodo or Bali? Seems like there will b more to do in Indonesia apres dive as well?

Thanks

I have not seen anything that compared to Sipadan in SE Asia. But that was when lodging ON Sipadan was still permitted. These days are over :(

No place is the same.
I personally prefer Tubattaha(liveaboard) in Philippines over Sipadan anytime.

Think I'm going to go to Komodo as the ease of getting to the dive sites I want to see beats hoping for 1 days diving at Sipadan.
