I talked to the girl that saw the six gill, she's an instructor at my dive shop
60' night dive.

The sharks remain in deeper water in the morning and only in shallower depths to feed.

It's pretty impossible to spot a six gill during the day...

Funny you should bring this up again Captain. I was at Langley Diving the other day and overheard someone mentioning a recent sixgill sighting off Ansell place. No details though.

I like diving with sharks. Just wanna check my reaction, if I will see a one in local waters...especially at night dive... Should be thrilling...

Very cool.

Looking forward to that vid. Let me know if you need some help brightening it up. We have some software kicking around that may help.

Hey lightning, we have a group that go out every Thursday evening, you are more than welcome to come along if you wish.

I just spoke to one of my dive buddies - he has spotted a ~3m long six gill shark @ Ansell place on last Sunday, Jul 26th. He was following her from 50 down to 100 ft. and took some pictures. Promised to publish them here a bit later... Two more divers from Edge Diving center also seen that shark...

That is not true.

We have had a number of local 6 gill sighting around Nanoose area where they have not been seen before. I have seen 6 gills during mid day dives and so have many others. I am not sure where you get your "facts" from.

Oh and have you ever seen one feeding in shallow water?
