Well, I was 49 when I got certified, and that was two years ago. Been loving it eveer since!:D
 
freshly minted 32 year old here (as of last Friday!) its just a number...in my mind i'm far younger!

I have a student in my current OW class who's 28 years older than I am.

growing old is required, growing up is optional

and it holds true

Turned 30 just last week. One nice thing about getting older... I can afford nifty toys like a complete set of scuba gear. Never could have done that ten years ago!
