One of my most favorite dive days was by an island called San Clemente off the coast of Southern California. You could not have asked for better conditions that day. The swells were low and the current was almost nonexistent plus it was the opening day of lobster season to. :) We did bag our lobster limit but the highlight of the trip was the fact that we were surrounded by California Sea Lions on every dive. They were so curious about us and playful it was just a great joy being around them. There were literally hundreds of them. There was one big male that was sitting like 10 feet away from us in a vertical position almost like he was sitting in a lazyboy chair just hovering there watching us go through the holes trying to catch lobster. My friend went over towards him and started barking through his regulator (the best he could) and the seal started barking back at him. That was one time I really wished I had a video camera with me. I swear they were having a conversation about football or something.

Add Bimini to my list went there this year on a live aboard with easy going and loved it.

Possum Kingdom Lake (several times)
Key Largo - Molasses Reef
Lake Travis - Windy Point
Flower Gardens - M/V Fling

Will be diving in March:
Key West
Belize
Cozumel

Can't wait to dive more!
