I am seriously thinking of going to the solomon islands this May. I am currently in Australia. I am really keen to dive the wrecks within recreational reach. I am padi rescue and have been diving regularly for the past few years. I really don't want to do a liveaboard. I have the luxury of time and flexibility on my side ...I can go any time and stay for any length of time pretty much.

Can anyone help me/guidance/info please?

Thanks everyone
Sally

you will struggle to find anyone to take you diving other than a Live on board- theres basically only one outfit tulagi dive (troy shelley) and Im no sure hes operating for any recreational diving ( mostly commercial work) there are shore dives at honiara but unless you have a contact it will be an uphill struggle

I did a 10 day liveaboard in the Solomons a little while back (2016) with a plan to travel around a little afterwards and do land-based diving. It became apparent that there wasn't much tourist infrastructure, so I booked a 7 day liveaboard immediately after the 10 day trip!
