Spear Fishing Destin area 1st week of August?????

What's goin on down there??? I'm new to diving and got to go spear fishing at Lake Norfork Arkansas and had a blast. I was wondering If anyone would be in the area of Destin Florida next week that would be interested in tagging along? I'm kinda leary about shooting salt water fish being that I grew up in the show me state. Way to many to identify. Let me know

If you haven't gone before the good news is that not much is in season, so there's not much that you're likely to see to identify.

The bad news is that not much is in season.

Are you going out on a spear fishing charter? Because you can't spear within 300 feet of a bridge, pier, or shore in Florida, including jetties.

However, it is allowed in Alabama. Go figure.
