I recently bought a set of Deep6 regulators for my grandson. I stayed away from their orange spg because I was a little unsure of its readability. Then I looked at my own collection. It appears that I have spg's that have a black face with a red pointer, a black face with a white pointer, and a white face with a red pointer. Most of my diving is with visibility of 3 ft or greater, both day and night. I can't say that I have noticed anything that would make me prefer any combination in particular. Although I thought I had a preference, apparently I don't.
