I have the Canon housing for my A620. And even though I soak it in fresh water after every dive, the buttons are sticky. Can I spray silicone the buttons? Does anyone have any other fixes?

Thanks,

Marc

Since I just got mine, I can offer no advice but, how long have you been using your housing prior to the buttons getting "sticky"? Just hoping this is a preventable issue and not something that will cause the housing to be prematurely replaced.

if you do, use a pump silicone, not aerosol which has ozone which will speed breakdown of orings.

I would just take the connectors apart and service (new orings and lube)
