Stopover in Nadi

Hello -

Any ideas on where to stay in Nadi - or nearby - for our first night in Fiji?

The next morning we head out to other places. . .

Looking for modest and simple - but charming, clean and quiet place to check in early and then crash that night before leaving early the next day.

After I get off the boat I have about 12 hours before my flight home. I'm staying at the Raffle Gateway Hotel. I believe it's only a few minutes from the airport and reasonable rates.

I stayed overnight at the Tanoa International Hotel on my way in and out of Nadi. http://www.tanoahotels.com/international/index.cfm

It was nice, we enjoyed the pool and the restaurant food was alright. It was a pretty quick ride from the airport.

On our travel agent's recommendation, we just booked an afternoon layover at Tokatoka resort. Across the street from Nadi airport, with a waterslide and in-pool bar. Day rate for "Family villa" is US$69. I'll tell you in June how it turns out.
