I'm a Fish!
I just bought a canon g9 with canon underwater case, was wondering if anyone had info about buying a strobe, I prefer taking macro but have trouble with really close up shots because of the shadow cast by the case getting in the way of the camera's flash.
Any ideas?

Hello-

I just bought a G9 as well, but was planning on the Ikelite housing and either Ikelite DS125 strobes (TTL) or go manual with the Inon strobes. I'm interested to know about the Canon housing. Can you tell me what the model is and benefits over the Ikelite?

i got the inon ucl-165 macro lens (screw type) and bought a lens adaptor from fun-in

Man I think I am going to get one of these puppies!

Do you have a wide angle lens too?

Also, with the Canon case and your strobe - does the camera know the strobe exists and will fire.. and sets the exposure/aperture automatically (TTL I think?). If so, that is fantastic and I could be dropping 800 bucks on the strobe (Sea & Sea YS-110 DS) too....
