I have heard alot about a submarine spring called Ray Hole which is located about 25 miles south of the St. Marks lighthouse in North Florida. I have, however, never been able to find it. I've had old timers tell me it is definately there, but other guys tell me it was "filled in". Does anyone have any information about this or any other marine spring/cave near north Florida?

cold hole and spring creek are two right near there in shell point cold hole has filled in some. I have not herd of Ray hole. but if it is out there I bet it is some deep cave, and lots of native american stuff around it.

There is a brief mention about it in Ned Deloach's Diving Guide to Underwater Florida.
