Im thinking of taking advantage of the offer valid until the end of the year. How reliable is the transmitter on these and is my zoop with only 30 dives and 22 hrs of dive time in great condition worth anything?

MUFC,

The suunto transmitter is an extremely reliable and quality product. Just remember though they are a very precise instrument and need to be taken care of. As long as you don't abuse the transmitter and follow the proper servicing guidelines, then you shouldn't have any issues. You will receive a 5 year pro-rated warranty with the unit. As for your Zoop, I cannot tell you how much it is worth. It's worth is however much someone is willing to pay. The retail price is $300, so you can work down from there.

Best Regards,
Chris from Suunto

Your Zoop would be a good spare/backup computer.
