If you've used the Suunto Eon before, I would love to know the good, and bad aspects of it. Is it reliable?

That's a very old model, do you own one or are you thinking of buying one? I could be wrong but I can't imagine Suunto even supporting that model anymore.
 
My father purchased one for him on Ebay and I was going to see if anyone knew it... It seems rather good for a 1990's computer!

Its a good thing that computing technology hasn't advanced much since the 1990's. . .
 
Thats good to hear! Does it compute air time as well as dive/NDL time?
 
Yes , it will show you whichever is shortest time . You can download the manual for free , If you are not using nitrox you will be very happy with your eon .
