Try 'Sharkskins' they manufacture both diveskins (with spine padding) and swimsuits. The material is a bit thicker than the normal swimsuit material, but it holds out very well to use.

Glad to know there is a women's forum on the board.
I am quite new to diving (presently trying to figure out if i do my ow in nyc -expensivo! or elsewhere) and need to find suits and skins, also what fins to you recommend? i thought aeris(?) made some spilts ones that were for ladies? i saw in my scuba mag. any helpful hints would be much appreciated.
