Has any one done this one before? While checking conditions near Deer Creek last night I saw several people there with lanterns and fires. I've never heard of any one diving there, just wanted to check. Thanks for the info.

Nope, I have not dove there. From the picture, it looks like a sand bottom and not much structure at least in close directly out from the beach. But wait a minute, over to the South and North, (right and left respectivly in the photo) the natual slope of the hill side was cut off to make the road, could be some rock structure off in the water (hinted at in the photo by the rocks in the surf zone).

Could be a real treasure waiting on your discovery. We look forward to your dive report.
 
I have only dove Sycamore once, not a lot of structure. Viz was less than optimal, so I may well have missed the best part of the dive, however, for the most part, all I saw was sand. A couple of thornback rays, that's about it.
