Wow I think I found the right place to post .... Hello fellow tampa divers :05: Kim P here .... When is the next gulf dive?? I am ready .... my next planned dive is in Key Largo 5/20 and 5/21.... are you ready? All divers welcome ... I am OW cert and been diving 4 years ... have not been out in my area much (gulf) ... but west palm and key largo have been fun.... anyway Hi eyebrow

This is definately the place to find buddies.

I am yet another example of how easy it is to make friends & dive buddies on scubaboard. Also the Tampa divers are great, even though I'm from "way south" (Cape Coral) they have totally welcomed me here!!!

In that time I have managed to insult everyone here at least once

In those three weeks I have:

1. Made a number of new friends in the area :new_smili
2. One dive day with these new friends
3. Was attacked by sharks :sharks:
4. Am scheduled for two more dives in the next few days.

Walter did a good job of reporting our incident.... remember, between 3 divers on this dive, we have more than 2500 dives between us. Only one had never seen a shark. And, none of us has ever come up against sharks so aggressive

just north of the pier, 5-10 vis, fairly calm, did not find any sharks teeth, thinking about trying again in a few weeks.

We were not attacked. I think they just wanted to play. Food fight! LOL!

If you guys want to dive the Fantastico, we need advanced (in experience, certs don't matter) 6 divers (I'm one, we need 5 more) and I can get us a 3 tank dive out of Fort Myers (what ever site we want to dive) for about $100 each.
