Totally agree, but in the real world you know what happens? People complain to the government about people doing something stupid, and then we end up with laws and regulation.The idea that there's something wrong with it, because some stupid person may do something stupid, never found that to be a good argument. That's a fault of being stupid alone.

There's nothing clarified here. Kick to 50ft. and then start breathing nitrox. Well, for how long? One breath? A few minutes? What computer is going to keep track of nitrogen loading for this type of diving? Do 50 of those dives over the course of a few hours and you may get bent.
