Best cutting devices I’ve found are:
1. Green River Victor serrated knife
2. Eezycut trilobite
3. Dir zone or any steak knife (2inch long blade)
3. Mechanical shears that chop rope.
Best way to test is to cut stuff.... hopefully ghost gear
Edit:
Best ways to mount them also I’ve found:
1. GR knife on a boltsnap on d ring (too awkward to put anywhere else- not saying you need a big knife but if you know you’re going somewhere where there is lots of hazards, it may be wise to bring this bad boy out)
2. On waist 2inch webbing, weightbelt
3. Waist webbing
4. Pocket or d ring
