My wife and I went diving at South Padre Island (SPI) this past weekend. SPI had a special dive week last week. There were discounted hotels and dives with American Diving. This was done in hopes that the Clipper would have been sunk. Of course, the Clipper is still not in the water.

Our dive could not have been better, even if the Clipper was sunk. We saw a whale shark on two different days. The American Diving group was great. Their boat, Diver I, was nice with it's large AC cabin and easy to use dive platform. The crew worked hard and was safety oriented.

If anyone plans to dive the Clipper, I recommend American Diving .
