Our group of dive masters and instructors from Phoenix Arizona come out to San Diego on a yearly basis to spend a weekend at Lajolla and have a 'conference'. We do water work and have various speakers etc over a 2 day period. I met Dr.Bill one weekend when our group was diving CasinoPt. and found out he did speaking arrangements. I lobbied our group to include him this year at our annual Dive Master Weekend. They agreed and let me just say this.....He was a huge hit! It was very informative, well put together and everyone totally enjoyed his presentation. We cant wait to have him return next year.
I'd like to take this opportunity to thank him here on behalf of our whole group and tell him how much we appreciated his coming all the down to S.D. We look forward to next year's conference but in the mean time we hope to be back out to CasinoPt on occasion as well.

Thanks again Dr. Bill and anyone looking for a guest speaker I would highly recommend Dr.Bill.

This has been a busy week and I haven't had a chance before now to write this, but Dr. Bill also made the trip out to Orange County earlier in the week to do a presentation for the Shark Bait Dive Club. He was amazing! One of (if not the) most well-received speaker we've had. A group of us who were there to hear him actually spent this past weekend diving in Avalon. His presentations were one of the main topics of conversation, especially as we saw some of the creatures and behaviors he pointed out in th videos he showed. I can't wait for him to come back and do another lecture on the other topics he presents on. He truely is one of our great diving resources here in So Cal!

Just logged on to ScubaBoard after returning from San Diego. Many thanks to the three of you for such nice comments. I guess it's pretty obvious I enjoy sharing my knowledge of marine life with divers (and non-divers).

Thanks,

Dr. Bill
