A warning to all you MagLite hackers, the O-rings in these are a tad on the small size, and there's no telling how old the ones that come with the light are. It's a good idea to get some fresh ones, and replace them on a regular basis.




Padipro once bubbled...
HID would be nice but again it's very expensive and the parts are to big to fit into a Mag-Lite.Scott
 
You have to add some extra O-rings to get the Mag-lite to seal with the MR-16 bulb and the original O-rings aren't really even used except to keep the lens snug against the retaining ring. I do leave the end cap O-ring installed but either use JB Weld to permentely seal the end cap or at the least LOTS of teflon thread tape.
