I love decorator crabs of all sorts; they're right up there with Blennies for entertainment value... but this guy sets a new record! The anemone alone is bigger than the crab itself, and the collection of sponges and feather hydroids completely obscure this fellow. If he hadn't been on the move I'd have never ever spotted him!

Fun pictures!

One of the first things I ever saw underwater was a decorator crab . . . My instructor picked him up and let him crawl across his glove, and then across mine. I remember looking at all the junk he'd stuck to himself and laughing. I have a very soft spot for them because of that.
 
Awwww, that's so sweet! Amazing what exists under our ocean.
