Next up, draft time! What crappy hockey player will the Wild pull in? We have the 7th pick. Rumors of an offer to Parise abound,and Public opinion around town is, go after Parise. Dad JP played for the North Stars and Zach is a Minnesotan. I hope and pray they rope him in and **** can some of the stiffs we currently have.

On another note: 10yrs. for Crosby?! WTF are the penguins thinking.. Do they really think he will be around that long?!!

the 10 yr thing is NOT true...yes they are looking for a long term deal for him but he is not the center of attention for the offseason nor the talk of the Burgh. Some reporter is just blowing out of proportion a simple conversation from 2 or 3 weeks ago where he said he wouldn't mind signing a 10 yr deal. The Pens are fully concentrated on right now signing Stall and Nisky. Philly has more of a prob than the Pens do with the situation Pronger is in....

Yeah, maybe Zach could push them over to the winning side. The real trouble at the Wild is we pay a mediocre goalie 3 times his worth and that would be cash better spent on defense. A little scoring punch and super strong defense carries you all the way. Every goalie in the NHL can look like a brick wall when they have strong D. Weak defense make every goalie look like the biggest sieve in all history. Conclusion: Don't pay the goalie so damn much, pay the damn defense! And get the best!
