I bought a Hog Classic second stage out of curiosity (about all the hype) and have dived it half a dozen times. It has been said that they are a "faithful copy of the Apeks ATX", having owned Apeks ATX regs I would have to concur with this. It certainly breathes as well as an ATX but unfortunately it also has the problem that the ATX's were well known to have, an exhaust tee that was too small and resulted in awful exhaust bubble dispersion. The problem was addressed in the XTX series and I would like to see a wider or otherwise more effective exhaust tee on future versions of the HOG!
To be fair. it's an issue that seems to plague many "modern" second stages!
