Its been forever and a day since I last posted...too much work, too little (as in none) diving. But suddenly a dive trip scheduled a couple of years ago (T&C Aggressor) is looming.

Here is where you all come in...I have a new 5050 and PT 015 that I've never used...(I'm not a comlete newbie..I've used a C50 and PT 014 in the past).

Anyway..I'm going pretty barebones..no strobe, no additional lenses, no filters. Just me, camera and housing. And no time to practice.

With that intro: what one or two tips the 5050 vets would
the Oly vets out there give to me to maximize my enjoyment of the camera while minimizing my stress!!

1) Use the manual white balance, no internal flash, for ambient light photos to get rid of most of the blues.

2) Don't shoot down on your subjects and get as close as possible.

Dee's advice - as usual - is right on the money. I'd add one thing. Take a white dive slate down with you to set the white balance. If you use it to get the balance right once you've settled at shooting depth, you'll get great results. But remember, if you then use the in-camera flash, everything will look very odd!
