hit some whale watching traffic just off the Redondo Pier Saturday 1-19-2013 heading out to the kelp beds around the SS Avalon. And whales along the kelp edges just mere whale lengths away were surfacing to greet us out there! Get ready for some hardcore survey dives for California Ships to Reefs on the 26th of January. If any advanced divers want to get in on this, contact us. It doesn't get any better than this!
