I'm a Fish!
Some of the coolest stuff underwater comes from the intricate patterns nature produces to dazzle and delight us. Whether a background for some cool critter or a study in itself patterns are a fabulous way to spend a few frames!

One of my fav's are the skin of the stuff I see - Nudibranchs, Fish, Octos, Squid and stuff.

Here are some of my fav skin pix.

Cockrell's Dorid. I love their skin. It reminded Jaye (and 'dette) of carved ice. Love it!

Sea Lemon. Their skin reminds me of a Ping Pong Paddle!

Zebra Goby's have really big scales for such a small fish

Starfish skin is always a crowd pleaser...

Pretty! The sea star is very cool.

But too big - took a bit to download and then I have to scroll to see the image so I don't get to see the whole thing :(

hmmm... looks like I grabbed the wrong files. They look fine here.

I'll edit and repost.

Ohre Stars tend to congreate, and I like the patterns they make.

Very cool - I see a 105 in my future - just can't get that close with the 60.

Mo2vation - would like to know what you did wrong and what you do to fix it. All my pics load up that big and I can't figure out how to shrink them. Small jpg files but they come up like yours just did unless I just post a link.

Thanks

I can't edit my own posts anymore, so they're stuck like they is.

I use Pbase.com. I right click and copy the "properties" of the photo (when viewing it as large on Pbase), then past it to the "insert image" link, above.

I blew it when I first posted to this thread and posted the properties of the "Original" size image from PB.. which is why they're so huge. I can see them fine, apparently Alcina said they're not loading right for her - so I presume others are having issues. Maybe not.

When I do it right, it looks like this

I love flamingo tongues ... every one has its own unique pattern. This one's a little more unique than most ...
