    The first mola mola that I ever saw was a baby. I was walking along the beach on Ambergris Caye and some kids were making a fuss at the water's edge.

    There was a small mola there, still alive but not for long because it had a big shark bite out of it.

    Awesome encounter for your mother and you! I have only seen these on the surface (waving dorsal fin) during the winter months when fishing from my boat. Thank you for sharing.
