Hi all! I'm finally able to update my website with some pictures from the Thumb Area Bottomlands Preserve near Port Austin, MI. I dove there last year on assignment for Scuba Diving Magazine and the story just came out in the May issue. Here is a link to the slideshow if you're interested.

I liked the Port Austin area so well I took my wife back there for a short honeymoon less than a month after I was there diving. It's a cool, laid back vacation area.

Thanks,

Andy

Are your B&W photos on film?

I thought the main reason for shooting B&W film was because of it's light sensitivity. Is that yours?

Tom is wanting to come up and visit us again and I hope this time my boat will be ready and he won't have to pull his.

What are you shooting with? Any detailed exposure info on your images would be much appreciated.

Hi and thanks. The B&W images are just converted from digital. Sometimes the color gets a little nasty so I'll convert to B&W. These were shot with a Canon 20D, Canon 10-22 and dual Ike DS-125 strobes where I used strobes. I'm currently shooting 40Ds. ISO's range from 200-1600. We had rough weather and not so great viz when we were there.
