What the heck did he cut it on?
His increased breathing rate was about the only clue that he was stressed.
 
I've seen this video in the past. I believe he gets it crushed between the two beams moving from the wave action. Watch your fingers.
 
It's just a flesh wound. I have had worse. :-D
 
Damn, hope that does not end his commercial diving career, also hope he is left handed. I know a few people who have done that using saws, machinery etc. Most of them had the end regenerate after a graft, but lost feeling.
