Torch compared with strobe

Of course strobes are better but until I can afford them (and honestly, until I feel my photography skills warrant them), am using my UK Light Canon torch. No mount, just torch in left hand. I'm primarily interested in macro - working okay for now. Definitely makes you up your buoyancy skills rapidly!!
