Just my $0.02 here, but agreee don’t think you want cancel for any reason policy, especially since nowadays you have to pay a lot extra for that and it ordinarily covers only 75% of the cost of the trip even if you pay for the extra coverage. At least that’s been my experience having looked at a dozen policies recently what you want and what you may have lost the right to is what’s called pre-existing medical conditions waiver. if not, I’ll travel insurance policies will waive any look back for a pre-existing medical condition if you policy so within 15 days after the first payment that you made for the insurance. I suppose it’s possible that you could buy that after the fact and pay extra for it but I haven’t seen that. Good luck.
