Trim pockets on Mares Hybrid MRS Plus

Hello,

The Mares Hybrid MRS Plus BCD has two trim pockets at the bottom of the back plate. I was just wondering....how exactly are these supposed to affect your trim?

I'm eager to spread my weight around the BCD, but my feet already sink. Will weight in these particular trim pockets make this problem worse, or are they close enough to the integrated weight that it shouldn't make any difference?

Ideally I'm looking for input from someone who owns this BCD, or from someone at Mares.
