While folks are often surprised by the coolness of Bahamas (and South Florida) waters in the winter and early spring (they dip down to the low 70's and sometimes a tad lower),you'll find the water temps in the low 80's now and they'll climb up to the mid to high 80's by late July / early August. How that translates to wet suit thickness is, of course, a matter of individual taste.
