I've done dozens of dives at the Redondo Submarine Canyon and never once saw a Tuna Crab, (AKA Red Pelagic Crab), until I did a dive and there were millions:

We got them in San Diego just before April this year. Not invasive, just appear out of nowhere for a while. It's probably not a good idea to eat them.Interesting - never heard of tuna crabs. are they invasive, edible?
I think the boil idea is worth a try! Get some Pro Boil or Swamp Fire and boil them up.
