Just got back from 9 great days in coz diving w/BA. It's been 8 years and there sure is a lot of construction that I hadn't seen before. I was wondering if anyone knew anything about two eateries in particular. There was a sushi restaurant several stores down from restaurant "Costa Brava" and a seafood shack right next door to La Choza. I was thinking that sushi in coz could be pretty awesome. If anyone has any info on them I would appreciate it, thanks. P.S. I think the fish soup at Perlita may have been one of the best things I have ever eaten....better even than my old stand by Conchita Del Caribe.

Ditto to prior posters. While the sushi I've had in Cozumel is passable, I would not call it awesome. As to Fish soup, I've never tried it at La Perlita, but the Sopa de Mariscos at Pescaderia San Carlos was really delicious. It's only on the menu on Saturdays, so I make it a point to get there on Saturday when I'm in Coz.
