Is the output frequency and power of an ultrasonic cleaner dependent on the mains voltage and/or frequency?

Usually we're told that running appliances from a 110v/60 country (US) in a 100v/50 country (Japan) is "close enough". While that's true for many types of appliances, it's not true for all. So I'm wondering which category these cleaners fall into. Do they have internal power supplies and rectification etc.? Or do they generate the high frequencies by multiplying mains frequencies directly?
