Ok folks,
Everyone who's interested in coming out for a night of Hockey and skills practice at the Carleton University pool, please let me know when you're available. So far it looks like a Saturday afternoon game would work best so I'm putting forward a tentative date for Saturday/Sunday February 7/8th. The time can be between 2:00 and 5:00. So far I have..

I will be out of town,

No-Problem/Jive Turkey here's another good chance to met people as well as the POW Meeting on the 15th, which I will be able to attend.

Who you calling jive turkey holmslice? :) So what's this POW meeting?

Tom R:
POW is the SOS of Kingston

I must be really ignorant... What is SOS of Kingston? Dive club?

SOS = Save Ontario Shipwreck...

Or

Some Obscure Saying...

You decide... :wink:

I wanna see pics! I live in TO and I usually have my weekends packed with hockey on ice... Anyone going that has a UW video camera... you should overlay that with some commentary... LOL!

POW - Preserve our wrecks

Doesn't surprise me that a diver doesn't know about POW or SOS,
These organizations (supposed to) place the mooring lines on the wrecks you dive, and are banded together to preserve wrecks. Kingston is doing a very good job spite not having a lot of people to assist. SOS 1000 Islands just started being concerned about the wrecks in thier region. If you have dove the Gaskin and Kinghorn and seen the large holes and beating they have taken over the years you'll be surprised how much destruction "we the diver" do to them.
