Dr. Joe Mac Innes'd book Underwater Man, published in 1974 has been listed on E bay under "scuba books-Underwater man...."
It is a great history lesson for the novice as well as the moss back on deep diving, mixed gas diving and underwater living
Some of the areas of interest would probably be;
****600 foot simulated dive
****Lock out of Divers from a DDS at 700 feet
****US Man in the Sea program
****Dr. Mac Innes's Sub Igloo --a Underwater habitat place under the polar ice cap in
the doctor's home country of Canada
It is one of those books that should be in every deep divers library especially those into tech & Ice dving. Since it was written by and is about Canadian diving it is a rare book in the US, and especially since it is 33 years old.
It is certainly worth a look and maybe a welcomed addition to your research library,
Cheers from California --where it all began,
SDM
