I'm nuts about Treasure Hunters ... & anything about MEL FISHER! One of my heros ... he took it to a whole new meaning ... Taking on the powers of the US & the State of Florida and beating them!
He went in and didn't just loot the sight ... it's awesome he understood and documented as they went. It's was a shame the deaths of his family happened.
Myself and alot of divers will miss Mel Fisher. The first time I met Mel Fisher was awhile ago at Our World Underwater and relished he was down to earth and talked to anyone that wanted to say hi. I wear a Grade 1 Four Reale off the Atocha. (shown in my profile) If they ever find the Margarita's mother load reported to have 500 tons of treasure I'll surely buck up.
