After reading this thread:

http://www.scubaboard.com/forums/apeks/395490-atx40-normal.html

I decided to try and find another budget alternative to upgrade my TX40. In the UK Apeks dealers wanted £30 + p&p

I came across this website:

SCUBA products A/X/TX40 to A/X/TX50 conversion

who only wanted £9.99 incl p&p

I duly ordered one and it arrived within 2 days

Here it is sitting on my TX 40

Also on the site it gives instructions for fitting:

Instructions for installation of second stage adjustment knob

and only 11.50 stirling world wide, there is a huge thread on this over on either DIR explorers or Yorkshire divers cant remember which, but many have used and think its the bees knees. Although the adjuster spring AP6578 is different on the 40 (AP2029 adjusting screw), so you wouldn't have the same adjustment as with the 50/100/200s.
