Did you change the motor settings or you left it as it is on George firmware?

Also have questions, Sierra uses flipsky v6.7 as default? What’s the original board type?

Does anyone have real world success with this that might be able to help me out? Upgraded my Sierra this weekend to the flipsky 6.7 VESC, with 2 PTB's. I'm using the same firmware as Tawaki. I flashed the firmware, and then used the VESC tool to detect the correct FOC of the Sierra motor, then overwrote those parameters. Everything seems to be working correctly, I can shift fine and everything, but after running for a second or two the motor starts to cut out and stutter. If I run with the prop fully detuned (no thrust) it works fine. Anybody know what's going on?

Maybe you can type in $$ to check firmware version and $l1 and $l8 to capture log when you meet problem and then post them.

Thanks Aryeh, It only happens when it's under load, so I don't think there is any way to log it while using the scooter in the water. After messing with it quite a bit, I think what's happening is that the motor was hitting the amperage cutoff. If I limit it to speed 7, it seems to be fine. There are some settings that cannot be changed as they are hard coded into the firmware for the BT motor.

1. Did you flash firmware G.0.4 on your DPV?
2. Try to set $x as 0? If problem is from batteries, it might help.

I think we tried that, but I'll give it a double check today. We went out in the water again yesterday for some testing, and still issues persist. Running in slower speeds seems fine, but higher speeds it seems to cut out and stutter. At a mid range gear it was going OK, then would start to slow, then speed up again. I'm starting to wonder if I have a bad VESC.
