No, let's just say though it can be added to a long list of things I tell divers and they look at me like I am an alien. I stopped telling them long ago. You could fill a new thread with things like that...

I am having more fun at this stage in the game watching them dump the seawater out after every dive. Then saying "wow...no wonder I felt so heavy".

I have to have some entertainment you know.

Smiling and nodding my head yes has never got me a complaint at the end of the week. :D
 
IMO, the shoulder dump valve is a maintenance thing, pay attention to your gear, clean it, rinse it,and don't let it bake in your car. Some divers will dive two or three times a year when the water is the warmest and then put their gear away tell next year never looking at it again until the next dive and wounder why their gear has quirks.
